Q. A metal container, which has a mass of 9.4 kg contains 18.0 kg of water. A 1.8-kg piece of the same metal, initially at a temperature of 200.0°C, is dropped into the water. The container and the water initially have a temperature of 14.1°C and the final temperature of the entire system is 16.1°C. Calculate the specific heat of the metal.

Q. At each point on the surface of the cube, the electric field is parallel to the z axis. The length of each edge of the cube is 3.0 m. On the top face of the cube E = -40 k N/C, and on the bottom face of the cube E = +25 k N/C. Determine the net charge contained within the cube.
