A pendulum is made of a rod of mass 1.7 kilogram and length 3.8 meter whose moment of inertia about its center of mass is (1/12) ML2 and a thin cylindrical disk of mass 2.4 kilogram and radius 1.8 meter whose moment of inertia about its center of mass is .5 mr2.
