A 500 g, 3 m uniform thin rod is pivoted at one end and has a mass 500 g attached to its other end. Ignore friction and air resistance.

B. Find the moment of intertia of the physical pendulum.

C. Derive the pendulum oscillation equation for a small deflection angle starting from Newton's Second Law for rotation and find the period of oscillation.
