Question: A ball hangs from the end of a pole that is attached to a wall. The pole is 3.0 m long and makes an angle of 60o with the vertical. The end of the pole is also fastened to a cord that runs horizontally to the wall, where it is securely attached.

Part A: Find the maximum weight of the ball such that the system remains in equilibrium if the mass of the pole is 15 kg and the breaking strength of the horizontal cord (the maximum tension it can withstand without breaking) is 300 N.

I need tutor help to solve the above question and assume that the cord will break before the pole or the vertical wire attached to the ball.
