A worker is standing on a wet concrete floor, holding an electric drill having a metallic case. The metallic case is connected through the ground wire of a three-terminal power outlet to power-system ground. The resistance of the ground wire is Rg. The resistance of the worker s body is Rw = 500 Ω. Due to faulty insulation in the drill, a current of 2A flows into its metallic case. The circuit diagram for this situation is shown in Figure P2.43. Find the maximum value of Rg so that the current through the worker does not exceed 0.1mA.
