A capacitor consists of two plates which are 0.2mm apart from each other. The combined area of the two plates measures 14cm2. When the capacitor is fully charged, it provides 12V across the plates.

a) What is the maximum electric charge on each of the plates?

b) If you place an electron in the middle of the capacitor and let it go, what is the velocity with which it will hit the positively charged plate?
