A paper mill has two steam generators one at 4.5MPa 300 C and one at 8MPa 500 C. Each generator feeds a seperate turbine, each of which has an exhaust pressure of 1.2MPa and an isentropic efficiency of 87%, such that their combined power is 20MW. The two exhaust flows are mixed adiabatically to produce saturated vapor at 1.2MPa. Find the mass flow rate for each turbine (not necassirly the same), and the rate of entropy generation in each turbine and the mixing chamber. You may assume that each turbine is adiabatic.
