A constant horizontal force F applied by a fishing line to auniform solid disk of radius R and mass M. The line is wrappedaround the central portion of the cylinder (see the fig- ure) withradius r = R/4 and negligible thickness (just to hold the wrappedfishing line). Neglect the mass of the disk missing about thecentral disk.

a) Find acceleration in terms of F and m. (b) Find the magnitude of staic friction, in terms of F . (c) Is the direction of staticfriction in the direction of acceleration of the disk or in the opposite direction? (d) Find kinetic energy of the disk after it moved by L, starting from rest, in terms of F, L, r, and R.
