A solenoid has a circular cross section with a radius of 3 centimeter, 800 turns and a length of a 70 centimeter. It sits with its central axis in a vertical position, where the positive z direction is upward. A 6 Amp clockwise current flows through a solenoid.

A.) Find the magnetic field inside the solenoid? Give the answer as a vector.

B.) If this solenoid sits in a 30 mT magnetic field in they-direction, determine what is the torque (vector) on the solenoid?
