Looking a wood (pine) deck material.  It's a simple 8' by 8' deck.  There's a support beam holding up this deck.  Other end is connected to building.  Find the load bearing strength of a support beam -- in lbs, that supports this deck under it.  Average usage of deck or persons on it.   Anyways, what is the strength of a single 8 foot 2" by 12" beam?   Then what is the strength of a single 8 foot 2" by 10" beam?
