1. Falling chain

A chain of length t and linear density p is held on a frictionless horizontal table, with a length yo hanging over the edge. The chain is released. As a function of time, find the length that hangs over the edge. (Do not bother with t after the chain loses contact with the table.) Also, find the speed of the chain right when it loses contact with the table.

(Assume that the chain initially hangs far enough over the edge so that it will indeed fall when released.)

2. Redo problem (1), but now let there be a coefficient of friction p, between the chain and the table.
