Suppose a department has nine employees, four of them are junior executives, three of them are executives and two of them are senior executive. Three of the employees are to be selected for promotion. Let X denote the number of senior executives and Y denote the number of junior executives among the three selected for promotion. Assuming that the three are randomly selected from the nine available.

i) Find the joint probability function of X and Y.

ii) Compute P(Y = 2| x =1}.
