A billiard ball (the 8-ball) rests directly in front of the side pocket. Pool-hand Peta calls the shot into the side pocket to the right and shoots it in. The cue ball from Peta's shot approaches the 8-ball with a speed of 2.2 m/s at 105 degrees from the right. After it is struck, the 8-ball goes directly into the side pocket at 0.5 m/s.

a.) Find the magnitude of the final velocity of the cue ball. Find the angle between that velocity vector and the right.

b.) Find the fraction of energy remaining after the collision.

c.) If the collision takes 0.08 s, find the size and direction of the force on the 8-ball. Thanks for the help in advance.
