A 0.2kg marble is launched off the end of a table and can be considered to be in free fall. The initial speed of the marble (Vi) is 2m/s. At the instant just before the marble hits the ground its speed (Vf) has increased to 6m/s.

a) How high was the table that the marble was initially launched from ( find h as shown in Figure 2).

b) If the marble hits the ground and comes to rest in a time of 50 milliseconds, find the force that the floor exerts on the marble?
