Q. An accelerometer in a control system consists of a 3.65 g object sliding on a horizontal rail. A low-mass spring is linked between the object and a glange at one end of the rail. Grease on the rail makes static friction negligible, but rapidly damps out vibrations of the sliding object. While subject to a steady acceleration of 0.50 g, the object must be located 0.35cm from its equilibrium position. Find the force constant necessary for the spring.

Q. When Capacitor C1 having voltage V is connected with another capacitor C2 having zero charge in parallel with C1 what would be the dissipated energy?
