A 24" pipeline carries 4cfs up a 200' tall hill. Pressure at the bottom of the hill is 30 psi. The pipe is 2000ft long. Head loss occurs at the rate of 1.5 feet per 100 ft of pipe. Find the energy ( in head ) that must added by a pump to achive a desired pressure of 35 psi at the top of the hill.
