A 2.0 kg block is pushed against a horizontal spring and released. The spring sends the block sliding across a tabletop. It stops 75 cm from where you released it. The spring constant is 2.0 N/cm and the coefficient of kinetic friction between the tabletop and the block is 0.15. Calculate the distance to which the spring was initially compressed.
