To examine a particular blood sample in biology lab, a scholar uses a compound microscope set to have a magnification of -4525. The eyepiece and objective are both attached to a tube which is 17 centimeter in length and the eyepiece has a focal length of 2.53 centimeter. The near point of the person using the microscope is 25.5 and you can assume she can view the image produced with a fully relaxed eye.

1) Determine what is the focal length of the objective?

f =_______cm

2) Find the distance between blood sample and objective lens?

do = _______cm
