An electron going east with speed ve = 0.4c collides with a proton going north with speed vp = 0.3c. This collision will create a photon. The collision is considered elastic and non-relativistic. After the collision, the proton speed changes to 0.2 c and and its direction is measured 300 from the horizontal. The electron's speed will change to 0.3 c but its direction is unknown.

a) Find the frequency of the photon.

b) Find the direction of the photon.
