a. calculate current and voltage needed to obtain 1mW optical power output

b. calculate the extraction efficiency and find the current and voltage needed to obtain the desired optical output. Once you know the current density choose Area and Find Vf that will give you the desired current density and current (If= Jf x A= Jn A)
