Kristal Industries received an invoice for Zing, Manganese, and Copper. The invoice showed the following cost per item:

Product              Total Cost                 Total Weight

Zinc                      P 16 875                  1350 kilos

Manganese                P 20 250             1800 kilos

Copper                        P 23 625             2250 kilos

The total transportation costs for the above items amounted to P 2 430.

Required:

Question 1: The cost per kilo of each product, if transportation cost is allocated to materials based on cost.

Question 2: The unit cost of each product, if transportation cost is allocated to materials based on weight.

Question 3: If transportation cost is treated as an overhead, determine the cost per kilo of each product.
