In a refrigerator cycle R-12 enters an evaporator as saturated liquid at 100.4 kPa. It exits with a negligible pressure drop as saturated vapor. It then enters a turbine where it is compressed to 1500 kPa at 100*c. Find the: cooling achieved and the work by the compressor. Is the compressor isentropic? IF the cooling is 300 KJ/kg and the work by the compressor is 300 kJ/kg what is the coefficient of performance for the system?
