A 500 gram block attached to an ideal spring (k = 80 N/m) oscillates on a horizontal frictionless surface. The total mechanical energy for the system is 0.075 Joule. When the spring is compressed by some distance x, the blocks speed is measured to be 24 cm/s. Find the compression distance (x) of the spring?
