A rod is 0.5100 m long at 25C. At 225C the rod is loaded with a stress of 2 76 MPa and its length is found to be 0.5358 m (under load at 225C). If the elastic modulus of this material is 5.52G Pa, calculate the coefficient of thermal expansion for this material. State any assumptions.
