Step 1: Locate your store's weekly data and the group you are in below based on your last name. (ATTACHMENT)Group 1 - A -H or Group 2 - J - M or Group 3 - N - Z
Step 2: Locate the following Data Columns from your store's weekly report.
A) Sales B) Transactions C) Traffic D) UPT E) OppVol Step 3: There will be 5 functions you will have to compute with the data columns from Step 2. When you look at the chart below in Step 4, the numbers correspond to the statistical procedure you must compute below. So for example, if you are in group A-H, you will compute the variance for your transactions data.
1) Compute the Five-number summary (Min., Q1, Q2, Q3, Max) 2) Compute Mean 3) Find Variance 4) Compute the Standard Deviation 5) Find the 95% Standard Deviations Step 4: Please find the chart below which identifies the data set and the 5 functions you must compute. As you can see, you will be using six data sets and computing a few different functions for each test.
