1. A 4µF and 10uF capacitor are connected in series across a potential difference of 40 V. Find the charge on each capaacitor and the potential difference across each.

2. One can model a real capacitor by considering it to be an ideal capacitor in parallel with a resistance, known as the leakage resistance of the capacitor. Describe how one could measure this resistance.

If the capacitors are disconnected from the source of potential and each other and reconnected with like plate together, find the charge on each capacitor and the potential difference across the combination.
