Consider the crescent-shaped region between the circles x2 + y2 = 1 and (x - 0.5)2 + y2 = 2 as shown below.

a) Find the centroid of the region.

Assume the crescent shaped region has constant density, the mass is 10 grams, and x and y are measured in centimeters.

b) Find the moment of inertia about the x-axis.

c) Find the moment of inertia about the line x = - 3/4.
