Consider a production process comprising 6 stages labeled stage1, stage2,...,stage6. All the stages are arranged in the sequence of the number tag. The processing time or capacity of each stage is given below. Assume that jobs arrive at the rate of 30 per hour and that the production process closes after ALL jobs have been completed.

(i) Find the average waiting time of jobs in the production system.
(i) Find the average inventory in the WHOLE production process when it is in a production run. (ii) Identify the stages before which jobs might have to wait and calculate the average waiting time before each of the stage.
(iii) Finally, find the closing time for each stage of production.

Jobs are accepted at stage1 for 6 hours everyday, starting at 6:00 AM.
