Question: A survey was conducted examining the police response time to urgent 9-1-1 calls for service. The provincial average for cities with populations of 500,000 and larger to respond to urgent 9-1-1 calls was 8.53 minutes and the standard deviation was 1.22 minutes. Use this information to answer the following questions. Show your calculations on your worksheet..

The mean response time by a local police service was 5.73 minutes.
