The goal of this proposal is to apply design thinking approaches to assist students wishing to attend university in an innovative manner, with a complete step-by-step guidance in the enrolling process and outcome. This will better satisfy their needs through efficient and effective accessibility. Through extensive analysis, it was discovered that the primary issues with regards to enrolling in Western Sydney University circulate around accessibility to campus locations as well as ease of access to information about units and subjects. As such, this project will enhance the application process by way of improving the layout and better presenting information on units and degrees of choice. Furthermore, it will also incorporate post degree/career opportunities such as internships or available jobs. The step by step manual will act as a guide and will refine the enrolment process, to achieve the outcomes as outlined above. Given the improvement of the enrolment experience, the number of enrolments will increase, and the popularity of the university will therefore be strengthened.
