Q.A conical pendulum consists of a bob of mass m in motion in a circular path in a horizontal plane. Recall the demo in class with the bowling ball hung from the ceiling that acted as a pendulum. During the motion, the supporting wire of length l maintains a constant angle θ with the vertical. (a) Find the magnitude of the angular momentum of the bob about the circle's center. (b) Find the angular momentum about the pivot point.

Q. A scuba diver at a depth of 42.0 m below the surface of the sea off the shores of Panama City, where the temperature is 7.0°C, releases an air bubble with volume 18.0 cm3. The bubble rises to the surface where the temperature is 15.0°C. What is the volume of the bubble immediately before it breaks the surface? The specific gravity for seawater is 1.025.
