A horizontal wire is hung from the ceiling of a room by twomassless strings. The wire has a length of 0.14m and a mass of 0.006 kg. A uniformmagnetic field of magnitude 0.080 T isdirected from the ceiling to the floor. When a currentof I = 23 A exists in thewire, the wire swings upward and, at equilibrium, makes anangle φ with respect to the vertical, asthe drawing shows. Find (a) the angleand (b) the tension in each of the two strings.
