Bar AB is initially placed in a vertical position against a wall (θ= 0°). A small rock is placed on the bar at A. The bar is given a very small nudge to the right at B and starts sliding.

a) Find the angle θ at which the rock loses contact with the bar at point A.

b) Show also that the rock loses contact with the bar before the bar loses contact with the wall at A.

c) Assume that all surfaces are frictionless and that the small weight of the rock doesn't affect the motion of the bar. Bar AB has mass m and length L.
