A race car starting from rest accelerates at a constant rate 5.00m/s2 what is the velocity of the car after it has traveled 1.00*10^2 ft. how much time has elapsed.

suppose the driver in this example now slams on the brakes, stopping the car in 4.00s. find the acceleration and the distance the car traveled while braking, assuming the acceleration is constant.
