A sample of dry sand with a specific gravity total of 16.49 kN/m3 and a relative density of 2.67 grains, is placed outdoors. During a rainy period, the sample volume remains constant but the degree of saturation increases to 40%. Determine the specific weight and total moisture content of the sample after the rain.
