Suppose past experience shows that 5% of school-age children in a certain geographic region have Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). Assume that the probability of a doctor correctly diagnosing a child as having ADD is 77% and the probability of incorrectly diagnosing a child as having ADD is 4%.
