Please review one or two of your favorite companies and find out what their vision and mission statements are and discuss how they are related to what you learned this week, and what you would change, if any, to improve them.
My family has a small construction business. The vision of the company is: To ensure every business has the opportunity at achieving peace at mind, while receiving construction services.The Mission: To provide each businesswith the most compelling construction experience possible. The company's vision statement would be customer oriented because it looks to provide a solution for companies with peace at mind.
I feel that the vision statement gives employees understanding of the company's ultimate goal. Employees should be motivated by the sense of purpose and direction provided by the mission statement (Rothaermel, 2016).
The mission statement implies what the company actually does in reference to the vision statement (Rothaermel, 2016). It indicates who the company serves (b2b) and what type of services it provides.
I think the vision and mission statement that have been developed by this company are good. However, please let me know what you think about the mission statement and vision.
