Q. A dolphin leaps out of the water at an angle of 35 ° above the horizontal. The horizontal component of the dolphin's velocity is 7.70 m/s. Find out the magnitude of the vertical component of the velocity.

Q. The displacement of a particle moving under uniform acceleration is some function of elapsed time and acceleration. Suppose we write this displacement as: s=ka^mt^n where k is the dimensionless constant.

1) Show by dimensional analysis that this expression is satisfied while m=1 and n=2.

2) Can this analysis give the value of k?
