Assume a 67-kg boy and a 44-kg girl use a massless rope in a tug-of-war on an icy, resistance-free surface. If an acceleration of the girl toward the boy is 3.0 m/s2, find out the magnitude of an acceleration of the boy toward the girl.

Cable is attached 7m horizontally from wall at an angle of 30 above the horizontal. Mass of mailbox with lead ball is 100kg. Weight of drawbridge (center of mass is 5m from wall) is 2000N, and Ralph has mass 25kg. What is a tension in the cable?
