Q. An object is found to have a weight in air of 500 N. It is then tied to a string connected to a balance and immersed in water (density of water is 1000 kg/m3). The scale now reads 450 N. Finally the object is immersed in oil and is found to have a weight of 475 N.

a) Find the volume of the object.

b) Find the density of the oil.
