About the job
The territory manager reports to the sales director and is responsible for the creation, delivery, communication, and performance of the regional sales plans on a global basis as well as their integration into the tactical go-to-market, integrated marketing, and sales objectives. By collaborating with the regional leadership teams, the territory manager leads the sales strategy and execution of tactical cross-functional plans that support the overall sales plan and enable achievement of business and market objectives. In addition, this position is responsible for monitoring the performance of a staff of 20 sales representatives.
Job requirements
BS or BA degree, MBA preferred
Deep subject matter and functional expertise 6+ years of relevant experience with a minimum of 4 years in strategic planning and sales management
Required competencies: exceptional communication and negotiation skills, self-motivated with a sense of accountability, strong organizational skills.
Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods of time to ensure and monitor territory progress.
