Question 1: The management of your employer wants to find out about desktop Virtualisation and how it works. They think that there may be some advantage to the organisation from adopting some of these desktop Virtualisation technologies.

You have been asked to provide a two -three (2-3) page report that describes the differences between the difference desktop Virtualisation technologies that are now available. Your report should briefly outline how each Virtualisation technology works and indicate the circumstances where the use of each type of technology would be appropriate.

Note: it is like a comparison between technologies that is used not the vender VMware view ,citrix HDX and ICA , and Microsoft VDI ,include prices, number of users ,support ,performance, you can illustrate by drawing a table.

Question 2: An affiliated company of your employer has approximately 500 users who work on Windows XP workstations. Management wishes to upgrade the operating system to Windows 8.1 with minimal upgrading the current network infrastructure. Describe which Virtualisation technology would be better choice for virtualising this upgrade. Your report should not exceed two - three (2 - 3) pages and should address the following questions. 1. Describe your reasoning for choosing the Virtualisation technology.

2. What advantages this technology gives you in this scenario?

3. What are the disadvantages/limitations of this technology?

4. Which vendor would you recommend for this and why?
