The production manager for the ICE COLD soft drink company is considering the production of 2 kinds of soft drinks: regular and diet. Two of the resources used are production time and syrup. To produce a regular case requires 4 minutes and 8 gallons of syrup, while a diet case needs 8 minutes and 6 gallons of syrup. The available production time is 450 minutes per day. The syrup is limited to 675 gallons per day. Profits for regular soft drink are $3.00 per case and profits for diet soft drink are $2.00 per case. Using EXCEL, find the optimal INTEGER mix of soft drinks that will maximize the company’s profit.
