A pendulum consists of a mass m suspended from a fixed point by means of a string of length b and is immersed in a viscous medium. The medium provides a retarding force proportional to the velocity, the constant of proportionality being 2??*(??/??)^1/2, where g is the acceleration of gravity. Initially m is released from rest at a small angular displacement ? from the vertical. Find its velocity and angular displacement at a later time. (The differential equation has to be solved)
