During a drag race, a car is initially at rest on a long straight track. At t = 0 the car accelerates from rest at a constant rate 4.0 m/s2for 10.0 sec and then decelerates at a constant rate of -8.0 m/s2 until it comes to a complete stop.

a) Find the speed of the car at the moment it begins to decelerate? (in m/s)

b) Find how far does the car travel from the time that it starts moving until it comes to a complete stop?

c) Find the average speed of the car from the time that it starts moving until it comes to a complete stop? (in m/s)
