Uniform metal rod, with mass of 3.4 kg and length of 1.5 m, is attached to a wall by a hinge at it's base. A horizontal wire bolted to the wall 0.75m above the base of the rod holds the rod atan angle of 30degrees above the horizontal. The wire isattached to the top of the rod.
