A photon with wavelength λ is completely absorbed by a particle traveling at 0.5c in a head-on collision. After the collision, the particle is still moving in its original direction, but its velocity has dropped to 0.3c. Find the change in mass of the particle (a), and the change in its kinetic energy (b).
