A white lady, aged sixty, and she has lived in the USA all her life. She has three children, is 160 cm high and weighs ninety kg.

She is unsure about attending a mammogram. I need to help by outlining the points that she should take into consideration when deciding whether to go for her mammogram.
I need to write a letter to her explaining:

What the average risk is for developing breast cancer and what this means. Does the risk change because of her age

why two of her personal characteristics might increase her risk of developing breast cancer. Then explain why one of her characteristics might reduce her risk.

why a %u2018false positive%u2019 test result can sometimes be reported when studying a mammogram. Your letter should refer to two reasons why this can occur.

Tell her what you think are the two most important benefits (6 marks) and the two most important risks/disadvantages of mammography screening (6 marks). Finally, sum up for her what %u2013 in your opinion %u2013 is the relative importance of the benefits and risks you highlighted in your letter.
