A capacitor is charged up so that 500 nC of charge are on each plate. The capacitor is 2 cm x 3 cm, and is .5 cm between each plate. The negative plate has a hole in the middle of it. A proton is placed near the middle of the positive plate and let go. a. What is the speed of the proton when it leaves the capacitor? b. When it leaves the capacitor it enters another capacitor rotated 90 degrees that is similar to the first capacitor. At what angle does it leave the second capacitor.
