Find an art work from a gallery or museum source that is on line. Write a critical review about the art. Please make it four paragraphs consisting of the following topics: description, analysis, interpretation and judgement.

DESCRIPTION:
What do you see?
In the first paragraph remain objective and give only the facts.
Also include dimensions (height, width and depth) of the work, media used year the work was completed and the artist’s name.
ANALYSIS:
How does the artist use the elements and principles of design?
This paragraph should give factual examples of the artist’s general usage of the following design vocabulary: Elements - line, shape, mass, space, light, texture, color and time / Principles - unity, variety, repetition, rhythm, balance, directional force, contrast, scale, proportion, emphasis and subordination.
INTERPRETATION:
What is happening? What is the artist trying to say? In this paragraph use your own words and feelings to explain the meaning of the piece you have chosen to review. Let your imagination wonder, the result will reveal your unique personal vision. This may be the most challenging aspect of art criticism but can be the most creative and rewarding step.
JUDGEMENT:
Is this work successful or a failure? In this final paragraph give your opinions about the strengths and weaknesses of the work.
Make educated judgments and include information to support those views.
